Welcome to my personal site.
Why bother with a personal site in the first place? For me, having a central place to share, document, and create will be a good form of reflection and an enjoyable way to exercise my creativity.
At the time of writing, it's a complete blank slate. My hope is that, in the months and years to come, this site can become a hub for my thoughts, photos, and projects.
The first version of this site was made live a few months ago. Since then, I've been chipping away in my spare time to build something that is fit for purpose, iterating on the design and thinking about how I'm likely to use the site in the future.
At the core of the site are three index pages: a blog, a photo gallery, and a projects section. This covers the majority of what I'll likely be sharing.
Beyond this, there is a 'More' dropdown. Over time, this area of the site will house all sorts of different things that don't naturally fall into one of those index pages. This section of the site will likely house some more experimental web sub-projects which can then sit within this site. A useful tool perhaps, or something 'fun'.
